My 2021 Bookshelf

Ok, friends!! Here it is! A list of my books that I want to read in 2021! You’ve likely heard me say it, but researching which books to read and adding them to my list is a close second to actually reading.

I’ve heard from so many of you how much you look forward to see what others read so I intentionally try to include things that may not yet be on your radar. All that to say, I’ve got an infinity of books I COULD add but don’t want to overwhelm you (or me) with too many to add to your own list! I keep my list manageable knowing that there are several books out there that aren’t even on my radar yet so get excited for reading these books in 2021!

Of course it is really easy to say that I will read all of these books, but I won't. I set a goal each year of 12 books (one each month) and sometimes I make it and sometimes I don't. There's such power in goal setting with grace support. Giving ourselves grace when we don't hit our goals is huge for my well-being. And of course, this list travels far beyond 12 books in a year. Yet, it is nice to come back to when I am craving a new book.

Creating daily habits to help with our larger goals are the key. For me, as we journey into the new year, I am going to try and read something daily. Even if it is for 10 minutes. I'm hoping the more I read, the more I'll pick up a book in those fringe hours and continue to discover words of wisdom and worlds that are foreign to me. Learning into 2021 as we grow is so exciting.

What daily habits do you have to keep you reading?!
