Week 36 Bumpdate

Week 36 Bumpdate

size of the baby :: Honeydew Mellon

total weight gain :: 26 pounds strong!

gender :: Buddy boy.

maternity clothes :: More dresses, loose tanks, and stretchy pants. 🙂

nursery :: Pegboard is done! The last piece of furniture is picked out (still not purchased). But overall, it is really coming together. Pictures really soon, I promise.

movement :: His head has started using my pelvic as a pillow with a bunch of butt stretches into my rib cage. Fairly normal, I suppose.

sleep :: The heart burn has really subsided which has really helped my sleep. Now getting comfortable is a completely different story... I'm still finding myself up a lot at night. I guess it is just really prepping me to be up with a baby all hours of the evening.

missing :: Walking normal. Sitting normal. Being normal...

craving :: Soda. Not healthy, obviously, but I cannot get enough of it. I'm limiting myself but it really sounds good about all hours of the day.

symptoms :: I have had multiple people tell me that he looks like he's lower than normal, which could explain the reduction of heart burn. What has came with it has been pelvic pain, loads of it. It's completely okay if I am still; however, any real movement with my legs or midsection and it hurts. If he could find another pillow, I would be okay.

duston is :: Watching hockey one night. Working on the house the next. With hockey every other night, I feel like it is never ending. I know that my beloved Cardinals are not the star players we are use to; however, has everybody forgotten that is it baseball season?!

looking forward to :: We have family coming into town this weekend for the Memorial Day holiday. Add that to a 3 year old birthday party, Memorial Day church cook out, and hospital tour and our upcoming week is so full of exciting things!

best moments :: One of my best friends had her little girl over this past weekend! We spent Sunday afternoon cuddling the less than 24 hour old Amelia! She is so adorable and is making me even more anxious for our little man.

xoxo, Heather
