The Best Breast Pump with Idaho Jones

When I found out that I was pregnant with Lillie, I knew I only needed a handful of things. Let's be honest -- you don't need a lot of stuff when it comes to a baby... now make that the second baby, and you need even less. Even with being a first time mom of a girl, there are loads of my boy clothes that are gender neutral enough that a bow can fix the whole outfit. In addition, I tended to lean more towards the grays and mints colors for my baby accessories, and those decisions have found to be beneficial when it came to not needing a whole lot this second time around.

With that being said, I knew I had to find a better solution for my breast pump bag. If you remember, with Ollie, I travelled with my work a lot. By the end of my breastfeeding journey with my son, I had travelled on more than 10 trips without him in just under 11 months. Most of those trips were overnight for multiple nights and were combined with airport adventures. I felt like a pro when it came to flying and pumping. But if you also remember, my breast pump bag was a bit makeshift. It was literally a picnic cooler bag. Although the solution worked, overtime the bag began to stick out in public (due to its bright print) and the bag itself started showing some major wear and tear. It just was not made to travel as much as it did or hold the equipment it had. I knew I needed something better.

So when I stumbled upon Idaho Jones and their Breast Pump Backpack, I feel in love. Not only is it incredibly stylish, but it also looked far more professional than anything else I had seen on the market. Frankly, it is so professional looking I would have not even known it was a pumping bag if I hadn’t been told because it doesn’t look like it has anything to do with babies or breastfeeding at all. That is a huge win for somebody like me who doesn't necessarily want to be shouting at an office meeting that I am slipping out to extract milk from my boobs.

The bag itself has a black exterior and gold zipper design with cream lining is very sleek, elegant, and stylish. The bag has a hidden thermally lined side pocket, which is large enough to fit in any hospital grade pump (here's my pump that I'm using) plus bottles or bags of pumped milk. In the main, top section, there is still plenty of room for pump parts, a nursing cover, wipes, and so much more. There is also a convenient front pocket with enough room for your phone, wallet, make-up and car keys and an inside laptop sleeve pocket for your office meeting.

I love it more so that it comes in a backpack style. When traveling on the road and even back and forth to our local office, I tend to grab something in a backpack style more so than messenger bag. It is easy to throw onto my back, head through security, and not have another bag to lug around. The fact that I can combine some of my needs for an upcoming meeting once I land with my needs for breast pumping, I know that this bag alone is going to help support me through my second journey of breastfeeding with Lillie.
