MADE for Kids | St. Louis, Missouri

Nearly every one in St. Louis has heard of The Magic House. It's spectatulour and wonderful. The Magic House is hours worth of fun for many ages.

Yet, have you heard of MADE for Kids? The interactive space is the Kirkwood children museum’s first satellite location. The Magic House’s first permanent satellite location, at 5127 Delmar, isn’t a museum. Rather, MADE for Kids is an interactive space where kids can get hands-on experience working with low-tech looms, high-tech laser cutters, and much more.

MADE for Kids is a 7,000 sq ft makerspace that features a makers workshop, artist studio, design lab and entrepreneurs marketplace where kids can use their imaginations to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover! MADE for Kids is designed for kids ages 4-14 and their families can explore Screen-Printing, Laser Cutting, Stop Motion Animation, 3D Printing, Pottery and more!

The MADE acronym defines the facility’s four sections, a Makers’ Space, Artists’ Studio, Designers’ Lab, and Entrepreneurs’ Marketplace, with each area offering several activities and design challenges to spark kids’ creativity.
