Introducing TinkerActive Workbooks

Ollie is three, and like any three year old, he is loving to learn. We are exploring new things and as we have been thinking more and more about preschool these days, I thought it would be great to snag him some learning books to help him have some quite time during sister's nap and get into the routine of sitting at a desk and learning.

So when I got the opportunity to partner with TinkerActive Workbooks, I knew our need for some big-kid-school practice would be so ideal! What I didn't realize is how even their TinkerActive Math and Science Workbooks for Kindergarten would really help bring learning into the real world for Ollie!

Thank you, TinkerActive Workbooks, for sponsoring this post. I was selected for this opportunity by TinkerActive Workbooks with collaboration of Moms Meet; the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

We started incorporate some "learning time" into our after school and nap time routines and he has been looking forward to his daily exercise, and is excited to apply what he has learned to some hands on tinkering, making, and engineering activities. These books have been so convenient to help him learn because the activities call for common household materials that most homes have on hand already!

I was initially afraid that these workbooks would be too advanced for our little guy; however, he has been amazing at working through the curriculum-based exercises which are designed for all learners (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic). With these books we have been able to cover essential math, science, and problem-solving skills, while encouraging him to learn through play!

Ollie's favorite feature of the workbooks are the cute characters, called MotsMots. These characters help children through the workbook in a fun way. Plus after each new project, you are rewarded with a sticker to add to your collection at the back of the book. And anybody that knows Ollie personally knows he cannot get enough stickers!!

I am so lucky to have a full set of these books to help him grow and learn over the next few years. With its focus on tinkering, making, and engineering, these workbooks equip the youngest readers with essential STEM knowledge and skills, while teaching critical ways to engage with and explore the world.
