Alpha Vegan Burritos Review

Frozen meals bring me back to my college days. Back in the day, I could go through a 12 pack of frozen burritos in less than a week when I lived with my cozy little apartment. Today, we tend to eat more fresh food; however, I learned recently that these quick and easy meals aren't necessarily unhealthy or "bad for you".

Let’s just say I cook a little more from scratch these days. When one is attempting to keep up with a toddler diet along with one working on his Keto nutrition, scratch just seems to be in the cards more. But, my days this year at work have already been busy, busy, busy and I have needed a quick and easy meal or two to make sure that this family gets fed. What I didn't want to do was short change my family in nutrition or taste. That's where Alpha Vegan Burritos came in.

Thank you, Alpha Vegan Burritos, for sponsoring this post, Alpha Vegan Burritos Review. I was selected for this opportunity by Alpha Vegan Burritos with collaboration of Moms Meet; the content and opinions expressed here are all my own. I'm also not a nutritionist. These are just my experiences.

We are not Vegan household; however, there are several reasons that you should consider eating Vegan every once in awhile even if you do not practice the lifestyle completely:

  1. Reducing our meat consumption increases the ethical treatment of our four-legged friends
  2. Choosing a plant-based diet reduces harmful emissions and creates a more sustainable world
  3. Clean, quality ingredients mean you can feel good about making healthy choices

For all of those reasons, we try to have a meatless night every now and then. When I discovered that we could do this and pair it with an easy, quick, and tasteful meal, I was definitely on board. My husband, Dusty, was really concerned that meatless meant no protein... protein he needs for his workouts. Well, we actually just tried the Alpha Vegan Burritos this past week and discovered that each option has 11g of protein! Along with that, each burrito is GMO-free, 100% plant-based, and toddler approved!

The burritos themselves come in 4 different flavors: Chick’n Fajita, Pizza, Philly Sandwich and Mexicali. You honestly can’t tell that these are meatless at all. They’re absolutely delicious because they’re packed with just the right amount of seasoning for scrumptious flavor!

I also love that these are healthy. GMO's are not meant to be eaten and it’s great knowing that none are implemented in Alpha Burritos. It keeps my mind at easy that although this meal is from the freezer section, the ingredients are so incredibly good for my family!

My favorite one has to be the Chick’n Fajita, which was the first one I tried. I topped it with my favorite salsa and guacamole and had the perfect lunch during a busy work day! This was a nice change from my usual sandwich and/or salad I usually eat. Over the past week, we have had a chance to sample all of them and they have each been flavor-filled and a perfect dinner or lunchtime solution.
