Easter at the Farm

Untitled

Easter is one of my favorite times of year. Being reminded of the love and ultimate sacrifice of our Savior is so special and NEEDED. We knew that an traditional Easter service and the Easter bunny may not be in the cards this year due to Lillie's pending birth; however, we did make sure that we started a few Easter traditions that fit into our family's schedule prior to Lillie's arriving.

Although the Easter bunny still hasn't necessarily made it to our house yet, we did get the opportunity to head to the local farm, Eckerts Family Farm, to meet the Easter bunny, play with baby chickens, ducks, and bunnies, and go on an Easter egg hunt! We are so lucky that Eckerts is just a hop and a skip away from our home. The kids also had the opportunity to ice and sprinkle cookies, get their faces painted, and plant a seed to take home. We skipped the planting and face painting this year, and mainly just licked the icing... but we had a blast!
