Chasing Sadie

I don't know about you, but companies with a purpose just make my heart smile.

Meet Chasing Sadie.

We love Chasing Sadie! Chasing Sadie has not only adorable onesies, but also adult tops, Christmas ornaments, and vinyl decals! The owner, Tiffany, lives in Pfafftown, North Carolina. She started her business when she was expecting her first grandchild and niece. As they tossed around shop names, they all came to the conclusion that the name "Chasing Sadie" would be an absolutely perfect title. It would be a description of what they hoped their little Etsy shop would be as they chased to keep up with orders, as well as what they expected their lives to become - chasing their sweet girl, Sadie, around as she began crawling, talking, walking, running...

See, they knew Sadie would be a fighter from day one. With two aunts and four uncles under the age of 20, how could she not? Around a month old, the doctors feared she had cystic fibrosis. While progress had been seen initially to steer away from that, it was determined that Sadie has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. SMA effects the muscles and now the shop owners are "Chasing Sadie" in a much different way - chasing her to different doctors, hospitals, and treatments.

Chasing Sadie

I remember the day that the doctors told us that something may not be 100% okay with baby Ollie, a mass on his brain. It was a completely terrifying time to think about a helpless little baby that was growing and forming inside of me. I began remembering how God was in control of everything and He was fearfully and wonderfully making our sweet boy.

Most children that are faced with this diagnosis, the same as Sadie's, do not live past the age of two, and with each doctor, each hospital, each treatment, there is a cost. I could not imagine the weight of this type of cost on a family. Chasing Sadie has now became one way for a grandmother (and us) to help.

Chasing Sadie

With hopes, prayers, and fighting for a cure for their little girl, ordering for their shop is helping this one family in ways that you would never be able to imagine. 100% of the sales from their Spinal Muscular Atrophy products will be donated to Spinal Muscular Atrophy research and everything else will be supporting Sadie and her parents in their travels, daily expenses, and medical fight.

I could not find a more perfect place to find this onesie for our man. It's amazing to me how the internet works and how people are connected. The quality of the onesie and design is stunning and Ollie wears it at least once a week! If you are looking for the perfect shop to buy the baby shower (or Christmas!) gift, look no further than Chasing Sadie and help this family fund their little adorable blessing.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:14
