Week 34 Bumpdate

size of the baby :: A stalk of celery... longer than my entire torso?

total weight gain :: 25 pounds.

gender :: Boy!

maternity clothes :: So I went shopping this past weekend, and ended up with some no-maternity clothes from the clearance rack. Did I mention how I love shopping during the spring time? I have cut myself off from buying anymore maternity clothes at this point with just a few weeks left, but who doesn't need some post-birth motivation clothes? 🙂

nursery :: Dresser is built. Clothes are all washed (and currently camping out on the living room floor). Again... we're getting there and as soon as it is done, I cannot wait to show you the finishing touches!

movement :: It's his butt in my ribs, which is a good thing. It means that his head is down and he's getting ready. Definitely still active this week.

sleep :: I attempted to sleep on our new mattress in our master bedroom a few times this week. The mattress is just hard and uncomfortable for this pregnant gal. Good news is 1) it was free and 2) I'm diligently looking at auction sites for a new queen mattress from local close-out stores. Back to the old mattress in the guest room for now.

missing :: Deli sandwiches again. And hot dogs.

craving :: Fruit. Finally, a healthy craving...

symptoms :: Heartburn is back! Oh goodie.

duston is :: Just working tons. We have a final "have-to-get-done-pre-baby" list and chipping away at it every night. Nothing major, but it is slowly coming together.

looking forward to :: This weekend! Our anniversary is this week, so we get to celebrate it on Friday! We also have an afternoon planned with chipping away at that list, a birthday party, and hosting the guys over for a diaper party for Dusty (which means I have a girl's afternoon planned!).

best moments :: We spent a quiet afternoon on Mother's Day assembling the dresser for our baby. It was such a great time together and the first time we both have spent in that nursery just reflecting on the past three years of marriage and our baby.

xoxo, Heather
