Bridal shower and baby shower games are not my favorite. Activities, however, can add a spice to the party, keep your guests entertain, and be fun for the young and old. The months prior to my sister's wedding, I threw her a bridal shower and she shared my opinion... games are no fun, let's do "activities"! We came up with a couple of things to get the party started, but one of my favorites was something that not only could be done throughout the shower, it can also serve as a guest book and is now a decoration in her new house with her husband!
My shopping list for this craft includes:
- Wooden spoons
- Permanent Markers
This is such a great idea! We had each of the guests take some time and think about a good "recipe for love". They added the recipe to the wooden spoon and signed their name. Some were funny. Some were serious. Some were mushy. They all were heartfelt and the wooden spoons now sit in my sister's kitchen to be displayed for years!
