30before30 thursday :: visit each mlb stadium

30before30_stadium

One of my largest goals to complete prior to the age of 30 is to visit all 30 major league baseball stadiums. My husband and I love, love, love baseball. Within two months of dating, we had already visited two stadiums and now live within walking distance of our favorite team. I wanted to spend a moment and compile where we had been, where we plan to visit next summer, and hope to get some advice for the rest!

1. St. Louis Cardinals Busch Stadium
2. Kansas City Royals Kauffman Stadium
3. Texas Rangers Rangers Ballpark in Arlington
4. San Francisco Giants AT&T Park
5. Oakland Athletics O.co Coliseum
6. Los Angeles Dodgers Dodger Stadium
7. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Angel Stadium of Anaheim
8. San Diego Padres PETCO Park
9. Chicago White Sox U.S. Cellular Field
10. Cincinnati Reds Great American Ball Park
11. Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field
12. Boston Red Sox Fenway Park
13. Milwaukee Brewers Miller Park
14. Atlanta Braves Turner Field
15. Tampa Bay Rays Tropicana Field

Attempting Summer 2015 ::
1. Colorado Rockies Coors Field
2. Miami Marlins Marlins Park
3. Minnesota Twins Target Field

Still on the list:

  • New York Yankees Yankee Stadium
  • Toronto Blue Jays Rogers Centre
  • Arizona Diamondbacks Chase Field
  • Baltimore Orioles Oriole Park at Camden Yards
  • Seattle Mariners Safeco Field
  • Cleveland Indians Progressive Field
  • Philadelphia Phillies Citizens Bank Park
  • Washington Nationals Nationals Park
  • New York Mets Citi Field
  • Detroit Tigers Comerica Park
  • Houston Astros Minute Maid Park
  • Pittsburgh Pirates PNC Park

With two more summers left until I surpass the age of 30, I am getting quite worried about making them all prior to my goal. I know that regardless my husband and I have a lot of good memories, especially from driving up and down the coast of California attempting this list. And unless we both start making massive amounts of money, accompanied by a lot of vacation time... we probably won't complete the hard ones, like Toronto and Seattle before we turn 30. But we won't give up regardless of our age, for the love of baseball, adventure, and each other.

xoxo, Heather
