Shop Small :: Rustic Grace Co

Thank you, Rustic Grace Co, for sponsoring this post, part of the 2017 Shop Small Spring series. I was selected for this opportunity by Rustic Grace Co; the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

When I think about small shops, I just adore stories like these. Shop owner of Rustic Grace Co, Kristin, recently was left by her husband after 10 years of marriage with her 3 children. Now she's a single momma and her family and her faith is what keeps her together. She loves Disney, and Jesus, and has such a positive outlook on life... and keeps moving forward.

So when I had a chance to partner with her (and help her launch her brand new website!), I could not resist. Her designs are adorable ranging from mom life to Disney to faith based tees and tanks. She has such a variety of styles for women and kiddos as well as decals for items like Yetis and your car!

My tee, Spirit Lead Me where My Trust is without Borders, highlights one of my favorite songs. I just love Hillsong United and their music just calms my soul during a bad day (or even a good day). Even though it is a bit of an older song debuting in 2013, I am still in love with the lyrics and the meaning behind it.

The best part of her site is she is offering my readers a very special code to launch with her site! Go to her site today and get your Mother's Day, Graduation, and summer birthday presents purchase! Use the code "BAHORICHABODE" and get 10% off!!

Here is a little bit more about Kristin, the owner of Rustic Grace Co:

How did you get your shop started?
I started my shop by originially building wooden stands and making signs to hang on them for your front porch which I will be getting back into:) I branch off of those to just wood signs with vinyl sayings. But all the sayings and quotes so resonated with me and I was like "I want to wear this quote!" So thats what led me taking it to shirts. I love creating new designs with popular designs but with some faith based scriptures, mom sayings, kid sayings and of course, my character vacation shirts which I love.

What is the hardest part of owning a shop?
The hardest part of owning a shop would be that I have 3 kids, ages 2, 4, and 7, and I am a single mom. When some days the orders come rolling in, I get so excited and then it never fails a kid gets sick or there is a gymnastics practice or something I need to do but I also need to work.

What is one thing unique about you?
I would say something that is unique about me is that since becoming a single mom recently (2 months ago) my relationship with God has completely changed and has become much deeper. I am understanding this single mom life that is a very difficult road for a lot of women. So I am looking into starting a single mom life shirt line to empower single moms!

What is the best part of owning a shop?
The best part of owning a shop is the confidence it gives me to know that my customers love what they receive. They are so sweet and tell me how much it meant to them or how great customer service they received. Sometimes as a mom you feel like you are just not enough and this truly gives me the boost to know my customers are HAPPY!

How did you get your shop name?
Rustic Grace took a few weeks to decide on but once I put the two words together I knew that was it! I am a country girl who loves Jesus. So I had Rustic showing my country roots and Grace because I am so blessed by the overwhelming grace that I am given each day by the Lord.

What is one way that you keep organized?
My tubs keep me organized I have my shirts divided up into tons of tubs but I can go to the tub of the shirt style I am looking for and find the size and Voila there it is!

How do you balance family life and work life?
With me being a single mom, it truly is a very difficult situation. You are responsible for everything in the household and I have 3 little ones. So I try to work early morning, naptime and bedtime and then that gives me time to jump on the trampoline with the kids and take them to their activities.
