I married the most amazing guy, Dusty, and he really is my better half. We are learning through parenting with our toddler, Oliver Hayes, who was born in June 2016, Lillie Grey, who greeted us in March 2018, and have the most adorable fur-baby kitten named Lucy.

I typically can be found craving sunshine and humidity with a RC Cola in one hand and my iPhone in the other. I could live on a raft in a swimming pool near a gas grill with BBQ chicken on it in the summer times (or any warm day) if the world would let me. I also would prefer to spend a day a week sitting on a park bench in the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot reading my favorite book; it is one of my favorite past times (seriously).

I love to snap pictures and photograph our lives and those around us. I enjoy blogging, designing, and inviting people into our home for food and laughter. When I am not doing those things, I can be found stalking a Pinterest board, browsing through other blogs, or searching for more information on our latest house project.

I am a wanna-be runner and a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. I am a previous Walt Disney World cast member, and therefore, a Disney nerd and Disney Vacation Club member. We love to travel, explore, and learn more and more about different people and cultures that are unfamiliar to our Midwest suburban lives.

I have the best friends and family in the world. Family reaches far beyond blood and our church is just an extension of that. We are actively involved in our church plant and the community that surrounds our church. I can be found on most days re-reading a Shauna Niequist favorite and listening to David Crowder. I'm a huge fan of Christmas and attempt to celebrate it every year by listening to Christmas tunes from July 25th to January 6th.
