Shop Small :: Bee Happy Tee

Thank you, Bee Happy Tee, for sponsoring this post, part of the 2017 Shop Small Spring series. I was selected for this opportunity by Bee Happy Tee; the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Shop Small

Is anybody else super excited that it is the weekend!? I spent all day yesterday sporting off my new favorite Bee Happy Tee proudly stating how much I love love love the weekend. We have such a fun-filled weekend with the Easter holiday, family, a baby shower, and so much more. I just am so excited that it is the weekend!

This comfy 3/4-sleeve shirt is SO light and cute! It is breathable so really it can be worn throughout the summer and into the fall as well. I just love shop owner, Erin's, story. It is really why I adore highlighting these small shops with you. Erin took her story of sadness with her infant son's death and created an outlet of happiness with her tee shirt shop. Her motto :: there is ALWAYS something to be happy about, and she absolutely loves wearing shirts that make her smile. She love to spread good vibes, hopes that folks remember to always be thankful for today, and stay positive! Why would you not just want to support a shop owner with that message??

Additionally, her shop is filled with screen printed tees (which are done in her hometown -- another way that she supports local!). These tees all are full of happiness and such cute designs! I just love her "mom life" tee as well. And something else? Julie has offer you 20% off any of her products in her shop with the code "BEEHAPPY"! The coupon expires soon so don't wait!

Here is a little bit more about Julie, the owner of Bee Happy Tee:

How did you get your shop started?
After I lost my four month old son, Gus in June 2016 to SIDS, I knew that my life had totally changed. I had a hard working friend that I worked with at the hair salon named, Erin. I sat down with Erin and told her that I would love to have an Etsy shop that sold Inspirational Tees and Tanks. We put our minds together and came up with Bee Happy Tee. I know that I can speak for the both of us and say that we are SO glad we did it!

What is the hardest part of owning a shop?
Erin and I have different work schedules so sometimes it makes it hard to communicate about things. But we get it done with a lot of text messaging and e-mailing.

What is one thing unique about you?
We are both very goal driven and over achievers.

What is the best part of owning a shop?
Being able to use our imagination and having a finished product that WE have created. The creation from start to finish is pretty awesome and we really have fun with it.

How did you get your shop name?
Bee Happy Tee. It truly brings me happiness when I see what we have done with turning the death of my son around. I think of him EVERY time we create something new and get positive feedback from our customers!

What is one way that you keep organized?
Planners, Calendars & Laptops. But Etsy really helps us stay on track with inventory.

How do you balance family life and work life?
Balance - that is something we both have always struggled with. But at the end you just have to get it done. If we want to succeed we have to find a way to make it work. We are extremely grateful to have one another, which makes it easier in the long run. Not all of the work is dropped on one person and we are able to have more family time because of that.

xoxo, Heather
