wedding :: printables

When it came to my wedding, I was a worrywart. The most concerning thing that I have observed in other weddings that I was in was that many details of the big day, and only the bride knows the information. She was the one that spoke with the caterer, the photographer, and the DJ. She was the one that determined the cake to arrive at a certain time, where the photos were going to be taken, and what music should or shouldn’t be played during the evening of dancing. The concerning part about it was that...as a bride, I did not want to have to play director of my wedding. I wanted it just to happen on its own so I could enjoy the day.

So I created two documents that made my day helpful. I noticed during my sister's wedding, there was multiple questions fired at her throughout the day. Because of this easy creation paper, I had very few.

Call Anybody But the Bride Printable

My Call Anybody but the Bride was simple. Most of my bridesmaids had only met a handful of times, and none of them had met the caterer, photographer, or my parents. I distributed them to our entire wedding party and both sets of parents at the rehearsal dinner the night before. It was a great way to let everybody have the contact numbers of the key people.

On the evening of the rehearsal dinner, I also included a Wedding Day Timeline in each gift bag. As silly as it sounds, I have experienced multiple coordination issues with groomsmen, flower girls, etc. on a person’s wedding day just because they did not know what time to be where. In addition, almost my entire wedding party was not from the area. To avoid mass texting addresses the day of the big event, I provided to them addresses, times, everything. Sounds simple, right?

Wedding Timeline Printable

Although every wedding has their hiccups, as mine did as well, I truly wanted to make the day as easy for my wedding party (and myself) as possible. The day completely went as perfect as I imagined it, and I will never ask for more or better. It was a day written out of a story book, with each detail going as planned. There were ups and downs, without question, but at the end of the day, I had my best friend by my side and a whole new life to explore, marriage.

xoxo, Heather
